Can I swim in a UPF surf suit?
Yes. This long-sleeved UPF 50+ surf suit is made for the sea and the pool. It keeps its shape and stays opaque when wet; rinse it in cool fresh water after swimming.
Can I wear the surf suit after laser treatment?
Many clinics advise keeping treated skin out of the sun while it heals. The surf suit covers you from neck to hip and wrist to wrist in UPF 50+ fabric, and the breathable knit lets air move, so you stay cool. For treated legs, add the Apex Legging. Always follow your clinic's own aftercare advice.
Does sand stick to the surf suit?
Hardly at all. The UPF fabric is silky and smooth when wet, so sand slides straight off, and it dries quickly once you're out of the water.
Do I still need sunscreen with a UPF surf suit?
Only where it doesn't cover. The surf suit protects you from neck to hip and wrist to wrist, so you just need sunscreen on your face, hands and legs.
Will the UPF 50+ protection wash out?
No. The UPF 50+ sun protection is built into the fabric, not added as a coating, so it lasts for the life of the surf suit.
