How does the back zip work?
A two-way zip runs down the back. Lower your outer layer, reach behind and open it as far as you need, then zip it closed again. The suit itself stays on, so you stay warm, and you can do it on your own.
Is it a base layer?
Yes. It's made to sit beneath your snow suit or salopettes, and works as an extra warm layer on a hike up the mountain.
Does it protect me from the sun on the mountain?
Yes. UPF 50+ is built into the fabric, so when you take your snow suit down for lunch or a drink at the top of the mountain, you're still protected from the sun.
What if it gets wet from snow?
It dries quickly, so snow and spray won't leave you cold and damp for long.
